Islamic Academy of Scotland was founded in the year 1998 as non-profitable charitable organisation working for the community to spread the true word of Islam and to promote peace in Scotland especially in the Glasgow Area.
The Academy is based in the south-side of Glasgow, in Pollokshields.
The Islamic Academy of Scotland was set up in 1998 establish an environment of islamic understanding and education for people in Scotland.
The Academy's main purpose is to promote the peaceful practice of islam among the people of Scotland and in particular those residing in Glasgow.
One of the Academy's priorities is to educate the youth with the true teachings of Islam so that they can become better citizens in the society by respecting and appreciating other cultures whilst also representing Islam in the correct manner.
We wish to create a better understanding of Islam among the Muslim and the wider non-muslim community. We liaise and co-operate with all organisations on issues of common concern that relate to Muslim Community.
